- 200 g ladyfingers
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 3 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 ml coffee, cooled
- 50 g almonds, sliced
- 25 g butter
- 1 pinch salt
- Prepare the coffee and let it cool.
- In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Whip the heavy cream and fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
- Separate the egg whites and yolks, whisk the yolks and gradually add to the mixture.
- In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the mascarpone mix.
- Quickly dip the ladyfingers in coffee and layer them in a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat the layering with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mix.
- In a pan, melt butter and roast the sliced almonds until golden.
- Top the tiramisu with roasted almonds and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Best served chilled.
- Use strong brewed coffee for a richer flavor.
- Feel free to add cocoa powder on top for decoration.
