- 1 package puff pastry
- 250 grams mascarpone cheese
- 50 grams powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 50 grams fruit jam or fresh fruit (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
- In a bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Place a spoonful of the mascarpone mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- If desired, add a small amount of fruit jam or fresh fruit on top of the mascarpone.
- Fold the pastry squares over to form triangles and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Best served warm.
