- 1 pound chicken, diced
- 2 cups brick pastry sheets
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the onions until translucent.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and diced chicken, then cook until the chicken is browned.
- Stir in the curry powder, salt, and pepper, mixing to combine all ingredients.
- Remove from heat and mix in cilantro.
- Lay out the brick pastry sheets and spoon the chicken mixture onto each sheet.
- Fold the pastry over the filling, sealing the edges securely.
- Place the bricks on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in curry powder overnight.
- Serve with a side of yogurt or chutney for dipping.
- Can be made ahead of time and frozen before baking.
