Delicious and healthy vegan burgers made with plant-based ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  3. Add the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined and form into patties.
  5. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • These burgers can be frozen before cooking for an easy meal later.
  • Pair with avocado and fresh veggies for an extra boost.
