- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cup pickles
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into thin patties.
- Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the center of each patty and fold the meat around it, sealing completely.
- Cook the patties on a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Transfer to the oven for 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and mayonnaise.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
