- 500 grams ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 100 grams breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 burger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- mayonnaise to taste
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Grill or fry the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf, a patty with melted cheese, tomato, cucumber, and mayonnaise on each bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, let the burger patties marinate for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the burgers are cooked to an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
