- 500 grams Kalbsfilet
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 ml white wine
- 250 ml beef stock
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the Kalbsfilet and sear on all sides until browned.
- Pour in the white wine and let it reduce by half.
- Add the beef stock and Dijon mustard. Stir to combine.
- Simmer for 20-25 minutes until the meat is cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper, and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, let the sauce simmer longer.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
