A delicious pork chop dish cooked in a sweet pineapple sauce.

- 4 pork chops
- 1 can pineapple slices
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 pinch salt
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season pork chops with salt and brown them on both sides.
- Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and stir.
- Dissolve cornstarch in a bit of water and add to the pineapple mixture.
- Return pork chops to skillet, cover and cook until done.
- Add pineapple slices to the skillet for the last few minutes of cooking.
Notes
- This dish pairs well with rice or a fresh salad.
- Adjust sweetness by modifying the amount of brown sugar.
