- 500 grams ground beef
- 250 grams ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 100 grams breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 cup milk
- 800 grams potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 100 grams butter
- 200 ml cream
- 2 tablespoons lingonberry jam
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, pepper, and allspice.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs.
- Heat some oil in a skillet and cook the meatballs until browned and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with butter and cream until smooth.
- Serve the meatballs on a bed of mashed potatoes with a side of lingonberry jam.
