- 100 g cheese, diced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 100 g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- some herbs (e.g., parsley)
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a bowl, mix ground meat, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Form the mixture into small balls and stuff each with a piece of cheese.
- Place the meatballs on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For a spicy version, add chili flakes to the meat mixture.
- Serve with a side of mashed potatoes or salad.
