Delicious and creamy traditional German cheese cake made with quark.

- 1 kg quark
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 150 g butter
- 200 g flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, mix quark, sugar, and vanilla sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one by one, mixing well after each addition.
- Melt the butter and add it to the mixture.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the quark mixture.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased springform pan.
- Bake for about 50-60 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- This cake can be served plain or with fresh fruits.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
