A delicious twist on the classic schnitzel, featuring a crispy exterior and savory filling.

Ingredients

  • 4 veal cutlets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Pound the veal cutlets to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  2. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry each cutlet for about 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  6. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
  7. Squeeze lemon juice over the cutlets before serving.

  • Make sure to use fresh breadcrumbs for the best texture.
