- 4 cups apple juice
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (optional)
- In a large pot, combine the apple juice, orange slices, lemon slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Heat over medium heat until the mixture is steaming, but not boiling.
- Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Stir in brown sugar if desired.
- Strain the cider to remove the spices and serve warm.

- Adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding more or less sugar.
